Bayasse Mountain Lodge is located 22 km from Barcelonnette and Pra-Loup, on the road to the Grandes Alpes, towards the Cayolle pass. From Alpes Maritimes, you will reach the lodge by passing the Cayolle pass. Going down 9 km in the direction of Barcelonnette, you will find the lodge sign on your right (be careful, the Cayolle pass is closed in winter).

In summer, the refuge is accessible by car, and has a car park.

In winter, access is normally by car, the hamlet road being plowed regularly. Do not hesitate to contact us to check the weather and snow conditions. In case of heavy snowfall, you can reach the refuge 50m from the end of the road, where the snowdrift closes access to the Cayolle pass, on foot, skis, or snowshoes.

As a reminder, special equipment is mandatory in winter.

Annual closures of the refuge: April and November.
